Built by Hands That Do the Work
FiberGone wasn’t created in a boardroom it was built on job sites, in attics, behind walls, and in the real world conditions where fiberglass exposure is just part of the job.
Our journey started back in 2015, when the founder began working in construction and labor intensive trades. Day in and day out, it was hands on work cutting drywall, pulling insulation, handling materials that most people never think twice about. But anyone who’s done this kind of work knows the truth. Fiberglass irritation isn’t just uncomfortable it’s relentless.
It didn’t matter how many showers you take. The itch stayed.
The Problem No One Was Solving
Like everyone else in the field, we tried everything.
Cold showers, Hot showers, Hot to cold. Cold to hot, Jumping in the ocean, Pantyhose tricks, Mayonnaise and scraping it off with a credit card.
Got desperate enough to try harsh chemicals like acetone which only made things worse by drying out and damaging the skin.
And through all of it, one question kept coming up:
“Why isn’t there just a soap that actually works?”
Traditional soaps and body washes weren’t designed for this. Even after multiple back-to-back showers, fiberglass fibers would still cling to the skin, causing irritation long after the job was done. That’s when the idea for FiberGone was born.
Years of Research & Development.
What started as frustration turned into obsession. Began research and development over several years, starting small right at home. Testing different formulations, refining ingredients, and focusing on one goal: create a soap that can actually help remove fiberglass fibers and reduce irritation. But it wasn’t just lab work it was real world testing. Early versions of the product were shared with co-workers in construction, especially those in demolition, where exposure is constant and intense. At first, there was skepticism and honestly, that made sense. Everyone had already tried everything. But once they gave it a real shot. That skepticism turned into something else. They came back talking about it. Recommending it. Asking for more. They said it actually worked.
From Small Batches to Scaled Production
With real feedback from real workers, FiberGone continued to evolve. What started as small, at-home batches grew into something bigger. We expanded into larger-scale manufacturing, while staying true to what mattered most:
